Frequently asked questions

Pricing, languages, countries, the WhatsApp Business API, handover, and who owns the source.

The answers below are written as they are, without figures nobody can stand behind. If your question is not here, ask us and we will reply within 24 hours on working days.

Prices and contracts

Why are there no published prices?

Because the price is set after we understand the work, and a figure published before that is either padded to cover the unknown or low and revised later. Every service page says what determines the price, and you get a written quote before anything starts.

EGP or USD?

Either. The currency is stated in the written quote and does not change afterwards.

What about work that is not in the quote?

It is not charged without being agreed in writing first. Anything not on the page is not in the price, and that is said before we begin rather than afterwards.

Languages and countries

Do you work with companies outside Egypt?

Yes — any company in any country. The company is based in Cairo, and the conversation, the work and the documentation are in Arabic or English.

What language is the documentation in?

Whichever you choose — Arabic or English — and it is handed over with the source.

What are your working hours?

Saturday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm Cairo time. Enquiries get a reply within 24 hours on working days.

The WhatsApp Business API

What is the difference between the WhatsApp Business app and the API?

The app is free and runs on one phone for one person at a time. The API lets one number be used by the whole team at once, allows approved templates, campaigns and integration with your systems — and carries Meta's per-message fees. If your team is more than one person, or you need WhatsApp joined to a system, the app will not do.

Do I need a new number?

You need a number dedicated to the API. If your number is currently on the WhatsApp Business app it can be migrated — but migrating it closes the app on that number.

How long does Meta's verification take?

We do not know, and nobody can honestly give you a number. That decision is Meta's; we do not control it and we will not put a duration on it. What we can do is make sure the documents are right before they go, because incomplete documents are the most common cause of delay.

What is the 24-hour window?

When a customer messages you, a 24-hour window opens in which you can reply with an ordinary message and no template. Once it closes, any message you start has to be a template Meta approved. This is Meta's window, and it is a different thing from our own reply time.

How do templates get approved?

They are submitted to Meta with a category — marketing, utility or authentication — and approved or rejected. The most common cause of rejection is a template submitted under the wrong category, so we check the category before it goes.

Handover and ownership

Who owns the source?

You do. You receive the full source in a repository you own, with the documentation.

Whose account is the app published under?

Your company's own Google Play and App Store accounts, not ours. It is written down because the opposite is common in this market, and it leaves the client unable to update or move the app without the developer.

And after handover?

There is an agreed support period, written into the contract. After it, you have the source and the documentation, so any team can carry on.

Where does my data go?

The parties your data passes through for the service to work are named in the privacy policy. If a party is not named there, your data does not reach it.
